Nqaij Qaib Hau Nrog Tshuaj Rau Qaib (Chicken with Hmong Herbs) Recipe by Dib Qaub Lee

A traditional meal that is useful for its healing properties

Ingredients:

Whole chicken

Water

Lemongrass

(various Hmong Herbs*)

Directions:

Clean and chop up the chicken. Buy the herbs from your local Asian supermarket and wash twice before you use them. In a pot, bring water to a boil. Add the lemongrass, salt, pepper, and chicken. Boil for 15 minutes and add the herbs to cook for a few more minutes. Serve with rice.
